Alicia Silverstone is known for being an environmental activist who teamed up with EcoTools on developing an earth-friendly makeup bag and brush collection. Her book, The Kind Diet: A Simple Guide to Feeling Great, Losing Weight, and Saving the Planet outlines the benefits of a plant-based diet. She also has her website The Kind Life that talks about all the ways to live a healthy life while protecting planet Earth.
Leonardo DiCaprio is known for what kinda car he loves to drive & that’s his hybrid. He started his own foundation, Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation that brings awareness to environmental issues through participation with many organizations like the National Resources Defense Council & the National Geographic Kids. Leo produced a documentary on global warming called 11th Hour which tells us about the effects of global warming. He donated $1 million to SaveTigersNow Check out Leonardo on Twitter account where he only tweets about environmental issues.
Pregnant Alyssa Milano has been a Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF since 2003. Today instead of a baby gift she is asking that everyone help out other children by making a donation to UNICEF. She started a website for it called BabyBugliari. Alyssa is a vegetarian & appeared in a PETA ad in a dress made entirely of vegetables.
Natalie Portman is an Ambassador of Hope for FINCA International which promotes micro-lending to help finance women-owned businesses in developing countries. In 2002 she launched her own brand of Vegan footwear. She is a member of One Voice Movement which is non profit organization that is working in Israel to achieve a two-state solution through non-violent means. Natalie flew to Rwanda to film the documentary Gorillas on the Brink.
