Kristin Cavallari just got engaged to boyfriend & NFL quarterback Jay Cutler on April 25th. Kristin talked to Life & Style & shared the details of when Jay proposed to her in Mexico, what kind of wedding she wants & how big they want their future family to be.
He got down on one knee as the sun set in Cabo San Lucas. She told the magazine when she realized Jay was the one, “Right away. Actually, I think we both knew right away. He’s the most down-to-earth, loyal human being I’ve ever met. He even opens my car door!”
And wedding details, “It will be a year engagement and then I want a classic and traditional wedding. I can’t decide whether I want a small, intimate wedding or a huge wedding – but it will absolutely not be on TV! If we go with a bigger wedding, then I’ll invite some of the Laguna and Hills casts. But if not, then it will probably be family and really, really close friends.”
How many kids they want, “We definitely want kids – a lot of kids. Jay has two sisters and I have one brother – but when growing up, I wished I’d had a few more siblings. So we want at least three. I guess we’ll take it one pregnancy at a time!”
“My dream guy is Jay, so you could say it was my dream proposal.”
Her ring is a 5.2 carat asscher cut diamond that Jay picked out himself.
