Mark surprised me on Friday. He said he was taking me somewhere that was indoors. I thought it might be indoor skydiving, but we’ve already done the real skydiving. Then he said he’s done it before but I haven’t. I though it was that ride where 2 people are in seats and they go shooting out and the seats are attached to a bungee cord. I didn’t want to do anything with a bungee cord. Our end destination was at the Palm Beach Shooting Range. We took a class first that teaches you about the gun & shooting… how to hold it, how to load it, how you should stand when shooting, etc.
We then went in & shot the gun, similar to a 9mm. We shot at a bullseye and actually my first 5 shots we my best & closest to the target! Next we shot at a “bad guy” on paper. We were given about 50 bullets each to shot. After the first time shooting the gun my heart was going 100 miles an hour! I shot a total of about 25 bullets. Then I was done. I’ve never seen a gun or liked guns so I gave the other bullets to Mark to use. He was awesome at it. Mark has shot a gun before & he’s been hunting before.
It was like the skydiving, I’m good with just trying it out once. I’m glad we went & learned about how to handle a gun but once was enough.
